Inside, the new 2020 model of CX-9 is probably going to look surprisingly luxurious, and things will no doubt go even better, for those who are ready to climb up to the Signature trim level.
The 2019 model of Mazda CX-9 already got a bigger change by adding Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with the installation of a 360-degree camera to stay ahead of its competitors.
Apart from maintaining all these aspects in new 2020 model, we expect more features to be available as standard even on the base trim, if that does not sound too much demanding.
Will it be More Powerful?
It will be not fair to expect any changes under the hood of the 2020 Mazda CX-9, as the current 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is already an excellent performer on the road making 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.

However features like automatic emergency braking, was offered as an available option on the 2019 Mazda CX-9 which is now expected to be standardized for the 2020 edition of the CX-9 lineup.
The current edition of Mazda CX-9 needs you to be subscribed to the i-Activsense Package to enable features like a Power Driver’s Seat, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and some more.
But for 2020 we expect there to be some changes in these packages by allowing some basic safety features to be installed as the standard ones.
